
Michael Reffler
Senior Lead Robot Inspector
Michael Reffler has nearly 25 years of experience as both a technical mentor and volunteer for FRC. He has been a FRC Robot Inspector for more than 15 years, volunteering at Regionals, District Events, District Championships, and even at the FIRST Championship event. He has also volunteered as a Control Systems Advisor for FRC, as well as the occasional judge for both the FTC and FLL programs.
Michael has served as FSM (FIRST Senior Mentor) here in Texas, was a District Championship WFFA recipient from FMA (FIRST Mid-Atlantic), was a member of the Board of Directors for FMA (FIRST Mid-Atlantic) prior to relocating and joining us here in Texas over a decade ago.
Michael retired in 2024 after a 40+ year career as a Senior Mainframe Systems Engineer for a several Fortune 500 companies. He now plans to invest more time volunteering, mentoring and inspiring the next generation.
